HCI  +  Design  + Research

About

I’m passionate about creating, reaching, caring, and giving something more every day.

I am inspired by life, travel, people and thoughtful designs. I am experienced in all aspects and levels of creating amazing products and relevant design and research skills.

Work

After graduating with a degree in fashion design from Parsons,
I spent the next decade building a career in the fashion industry.
I have launched new brands three times,
and on two of them, I was a founder.

As my career matured with more involvement in e-commerce,
I found myself deeply intrigued by the wearers rather than the clothes themselves and went back to school to get a master's degree
in HCI and Design.
I am currently a Senior Product Manager, Designer, and UX Researcher at Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts brands.

My Current Role

I am a Product Manager for Baskin Robbins Korea to establish better user experience through online and omnichannel platforms such as ordering kiosks.

My recent project includes the redesigning Baskin Robbins kiosks launched in May 2024 which improved its usability by shortening the order process time by 29%. I am currently working on accessible products for both Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts brands following WACG 2 and NIA standards expected to launch in July 2024.

Baskin Robbins - Kiosk UX Redesign

As a Senior Manager- of UX, I was responsible for the full design and research of the Baskin Robbins kiosk for their first renewal since 2010. I have conducted various methods of quantitative and qualitative research and re-iterated based on the research findings. As a result, the final product was launched in May 2024 and improved its usability by shortening order process time by 29% and enhancing loyalty membership participation rate by 70%.

Code.org - Website Redesign

Code.org is a non-profit organization with its mission to expand access to computer science in schools and increase participation by young women and students from underrepresented groups.

Our group from MHCID program at UC Irvine partnered with Code.org for a five-month-long capstone to apply our design thinking skills where I participated as a Design Lead.

Code.org - Expert Evaluations

We conducted expert evaluations as part of the project to get a better idea of where the current usability problems occurred. Some of the research methods we used were heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, and analyzing Google Analytics data.

Apartments.com- usability testing

To provide better browsing services for its renters at Apartments.com, our team of MHCID students conducted various research methods-a heuristic evaluation and competitive analysis. From the issues we found from the research, we conducted and analyzed three different types of usability testing- a card sort, a quantitative test, and a qualitative test.
